Fin gets it. Even after the USA's 2010 World Cup run ended, she painted up her hand as a flag, got on her jersey and went to the Crew game to cheer on her team. Soccer is in the USA forever now.

We're not vacationing on the Gulf coast this summer

Our plan for this summer was actually to camp our way down to the Gulf shore of Alabama & Mississippi and spend some warm time on the beach. While the used bread-store-shopper in me keeps thinking about it, as everything down there must be damn cheap right now, the lack of ocean and seafood has pretty much killed the allure for me. Maybe in a few years, we will venture on down and see how things all work out.
In the meantime, we'll take our new tent and camp our way to St. Louis, Memphis (for Graceland, natch.) and into the wilds of Tennessee.
